Sherman announces summer music series lineup

The city of Sherman, Texas, recently announced its lineup for Hot Summer Nights 2017, the city’s series of free, outdoor concerts held each year during June and July. The lineup stretches across genres, weaving among a variety of demographics and providing something for everyone.

Following up on a 2016 series that brought the likes of Los Lonely Boys, the Marshall Tucker Band, and Foghat to the quickly growing city of 40,000, the City once again recruited a trio of household names to headline HSN 2017.

Two of the biggest stars in the Texas Country Music scene figure to draw large crowds and plenty of smiling faces, as Kevin Fowler and Wade Bowen will come to town on June 22 and July 13. On July 3, 70s powerhouse Three Dog Night comes to town. And as the series begins to wind down on July 20, Blue Oyster Cult will bring their cowbells to put an exclamation point on another phenomenal year of live music in Sherman.
