Tae Kwon Do is a martial art originating from Korea and practiced around the world that is popular with people of both genders and of all ages. It teaches practitioners discipline and self-defense techniques to enhance their mind and have control over the body and movement, as well as, developing strength, speed, balance, flexibility, and stamina. Kicking and punching are the main elements, though others, such as throwing and grabbing, have been added in as influences from other martial arts. Instructed by Competitor in Amateur Organization of Karate with 19 years of experience, 4th degree black belt Tae Kwon Do instructor Terry Templeton.
