The Finance Department is responsible for the accounting, budgeting and treasury functions of the city including:
Budget preparation and monitoring
Cash receipting / collections
Cash / debt management
Financial report preparation
General ledger maintenance
Grant writing and accounting
Miscellaneous accounts receivable
Support of the other city departments in their financial and budgetary affairs.
Payments for special trash pickups are also made in the Finance Department.
